This building has been closed for years but it is known for two things; a barber shop and a place of entertainment. The Triple L. Barber Shop was operated by Melvin Lee, Aaron Lester, and Augustus Lett starting around 1963 for about twenty years.
The Blue Room was operated for a time by Johnny Lester however there were other business there before the Blue Room. Many people remember it to be a great place for the young people to come and perform and just socialize.

The cemeteries are full of history. Just reading the markers tell us who they were and when they lived. Many of the cemeteries have markers as far back as the early 1800's. Some of the markers are not readable. Thanks to historians, Judy Bond and Don Sailor for compiling Rockdale County Cemetery database. They did this in 2009 from fall to spring cataloging the cemeteries.
Black cemeteries: Bald Rock Baptist Church, Double Spring’s Baptist Church, Peek’s Chapel Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Shady Grove Baptist Church.
